Labradorite heart

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral prized for its unique iridescence, called labradorescence, which creates flashes of blue, green, gold, and other colors due to light diffraction within its structure, resembling the Aurora Borealis. Discovered in Labrador, Canada, it's often cut as cabochons (rounded stones) to enhance this color play and is used in jewelry, believed by many to enhance intuition and provide spiritual protection, though it's relatively soft (6-6.5 on Mohs scale).
